Internationally acclaimed violinist, winner of many international competitions Diana Galvydytė together with an award winning virtuoso pianist Darius Mažintas will present the most beautiful pieces of romantic repertoire for violin and piano.
Diana Galvydytė – internationally acclaimed violinist, winner of many international competitions, who has already given a number of solo performances in the UK, Lithuania, Netherlands, Austria and Canada, appearing with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, Madeira Classical Orchestra, Sussex Symphony Orchestra, The New Professionals Orchestra, Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, Charkov Symphony Orchestra and various Lithuanian orchestras. She performed in most prestigious concert halls, including, Cadogan Hall, Wigmore Hall, Chamber Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Theater Diligentia in the Hague, Konzerthaus in Vienna. Galvydytė performed in many festivals, including Leamington Hastings, Banstead Arts Festival, Chelsea Festival (UK); Hohenloher Kultursommer and Usedomer (Germany), Menuhin Festival (Switzerland) and in many others. Violinist is a prize-winner of 15 international competitions, including “J. Heifetz Competition”, “Jeunesses Musicales Montreal International Competition”, “Kocian Competition” in Czech Republic, “Jeunesses Musicales” and “Remember Enescu” in Romania, “Hohenlohe Competition” in Germany, “Kotorovich Competition” in Ukraine and many others.
Darius Mažintas is one of the most prominent Lithuanian pianists of a young generation. He is a winner of number of international piano competitions, including “A. Rubinstein Competition” (France, 2003), International Stasys Vainiūnas competition (Lithuania, 2000), “Konzerteum” (Greece, 1998), “Citta di Senigalia” (Italy, 1996), “Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte” (Czech Republic, 1995), “Pietra Ligure” (Italy, 1997). Mažintas actively performs as a soloist giving concerts in the US, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, and Sweden. Mažintas appeared in many prestigious music festivals such as - Aspen music festival (US), Westchester piano festival (US), Sommerakademie (Germany), Holland Music Sessions (Holland).
