Vytis Jankauskas is one of the most interesting contemporary dance choreographers in Lithuania. In 2004 he was awarded „Golden Cross of Stage“ by the Ministry of Culture for the best choreography of the season. In his dance performances Vytis Jankauskas uses abstract contemporary dance language to create associative poetic images and strong emotional substance.
